Thank you for your patience during the patch process. This is a major patch so we were required to extend the maintenance window until around 3pm AEDT.
If at all possible - please do not to attempt to play in other regions until every region is patched as this may cause some issues once the patch is competed.

8pm PDT = 3pm AEDST.
Daylight saving still going.

This is actually really important this time, if you download the 2.0 patch from US then try to switch to EU it will try and repatch you to 1.08 which is an 8gig download.
So yeah, don't do that ANZ peoples!

You can get into an endless loop when you stay on the Americas. It says it's right to play. You hit play and then after you try to log in it says that there is a patch and it boots you out of the game and then the updater shows no patch and lets you play again. You log in and get the message again....
People, out of frustration changed the region in order to try to trigger the patch to start - and it did!
Unfortunately, I dont think it triggered the right one, as such we're downloading another 10 gb for no reason.
I decided to uninstall / re-install. I'm lucky in that I have unlimited download, but other people in Australia wont be so lucky. This is absolutely absurd.
Make sure you have the latest version of the new Battle.net App before starting. I believe this may have been the reason for the endless loop. (although not confirmed).

You shouldn't get a loop if you have the right battle.net app and are logging into the right server. The loop would only happen if you try and log in to the wrong server.

Well I've had the battle.net app since August or October (can't remember which). I'm reinstalling anyway, so we'll see what happens once it's done.
But I was logging into the right server and wasn't server switching until I got the looping error. So if there is an issue, it's with the Battle.net app... but I can't find the link to the latest version or anyway to confirm whether I have the latest version.

Patch 2.0.1 is now live in the Americas - see you in sanctuary!
